The AQUA solution has been developed by Link2ICT and is a Learner Management Information System created for recording learner enrolment details in a fast, accurate and fully validated format. The system enables a smooth transition from data input to producing an Individualised Learner Record ( ILR ) in compliance with the SFA , formerly Learning and Skills Council’s ( LSC ) stringent requirements.

Learner Management Information Systems are not just about SFA funding requirements, but also about Best Value, Self Assessment and Performance Management, around aspects of provision such as retention and achievement, and a host of other business requirements. AQUA provides the best solution for Adult Safeguarded Learning ( ASL ), Learner Responsive ( LR ), Employer Responsive ( ER ) and European Social Fund ( ESF ) funding models and ensures that businesses can make the most effective use of their data to support local authority based monitoring and planning and add value to their organisations. AQUA CPD Using the AQUA CPD Module you can manage the Continuing Professional Development of your staff effectively and efficiently. The CPD module allows tutors/staff to login to a web enabled module allowing them to search for CPD courses or Enrol on courses or even monitor the enrolment process (i.e. Line Manager/CPD team to approve enrolment application). Courses can be assigned as CPD course within AQUA. Venues can also be set up to indicate if they deliver CPD type learning. It also allows the CPD Tutor to monitor who has enrolled on the course.

All data used by the web site is managed by the AQUA Software Learner Management Information System so this development efficiently and effectively removes the need for duplicate administrative processes to produce an on-line course directory.

WEB ATTENDANCE The AQUA Web Attendance module is a fully integrated module allowing staff to input student attendance against a course easily and quickly from anywhere, using a PC, laptop or mobile device that has an internet connection. The attendance data is updated directly to the AQUA database meaning there are no requirements for the manual collection of data or to provide interfaces from other standalone systems or spreadsheets. Web Attendance also provides access to up to date attendance information by course, learner and time periods.
