How to update the gatekeeper settings in PVX

Over Christmas 2006 we have migrated the external, public IP addresses for our video conferencing services to an entirely new IP range under the control of Service Birmingham.

In order for schools to make VC calls using E164 numbers the gatekeeper registration address will need to be changed in the PVX desktop video conference software to 80.249.56.3:1719 using the instructions below.

The latest version of the PVX software (8.0.2) is available to download here: PVX_802.exe

Image Double click the PVX icon on the desktop to launch PVX.
Image When PVX launches click the spanner icon in in the top left corner to open the settings  window.
Image Select H323 from the menu in the left-hand pane of the settings window.

Note: this may look different if you are using an earlier version of the software.

80.249.56.3:1719
